Paulo Ares

Cinematographer / D.o.p. and also Film Director based in Europe. Born in 1969, Lisbon, Portugal. I started my Cinematography path in 1995 after earning a Master’s Degree at the Film School of Lisbon. I have worked for over 20 years as a Director of Photography on many feature films, documentaries and tv commercials and collaborate with the most important Advertising Agencies and Film Production Companies worldwide. Recently in the last 8 years I have been working more exclusive as a Film Director & DoP simultaneously in commercials films. After more than two decades of experience in Film Directing and Cinematography I am still adapting all kind of visual languages to different films projects spread around the world from; Europe , India , Middle East, Asia and Africa.
