Saul Barran

With training in production, post-production and a background in IT Saul became a Digital Imaging Technician (DIT) in 2011 after attending some of the earliest courses available and started on set in the UK learning from some of the best early adopters of Digital Cinematography with the Red One. Over the years Saul has worked on many forms of production, including TVCs, virals, music promos, episodic TV, corporates, and short and feature films. Having now worked on over 300 television commercials, Saul has gained extensive production experience and broad knowledge of cameras, formats, and digital workflows on a variety of high end, artistic and technical projects with many talented DOPs who have trusted in his diligence, attention to detail, on set flexibility, stamina and his strong relationship with local crew and camera rental houses.
